Although born in Atlanta, GA , I have lived in Raleigh since 1959, and proudly consider myself a native “Raleighite” and North Carolina “Tar Heel” at heart. Since graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1974, I have been happily married to a true Raleigh native, Howard Margulies, a proud ECU Grad and ardent Pirate fan. Howard Is COO of United Restaurant Equipment Company, a well-respected family business established in 1952 by Howard’s Dad, Jesse Margulies.  Our two sons were raised and educated in Wake County Public Schools before attending and graduating from Indiana University at Bloomington. Our elder son lives in Chicago area with his wife and three children.  He enjoys a successful commercial real estate career with Marcus Millichap, specializing in property acquisitions such as shopping centers.  Our younger son lives in Raleigh with his wife and three children. He is the third generation to lead United Restaurant Equipment Company. 

My passions include our family, especially our six grandkids, supporting our wonderful local restaurants, enjoying a vast array of exceptional cultural arts, including NC Theater, NC Museum of Art, NC Museum of Science, as well as cheering on our Carolina Hurricanes Hockey team for over twenty years as Season Ticket Holders.  

There is simply no better place to live, work, play and raise a family than in the Triangle area!  That is why I have loved introducing newcomers to my hometown as a Residential Real Estate Broker since 1987.  I get tremendous satisfaction in helping Buyers and Sellers achieve their housing dreams.
